Nestled in the heart of Las Vegas’ Chinatown, Yui is a hidden sanctuary for true sushi lovers. For over a decade, Yui has attracted guests from around the world-including celebrities and local food enthusiasts-seeking an unforgettable Omakase experience. Now celebrating its 10th anniversary with a renewed menu, Yui continues to honor the traditions of Edomae Sushi while offering an approachable welcoming atmosphere. Chef Gen Mizoguchi - Owner A Tokyo native, Chef Gen refined his craft at prestigious sushi restaurants in Ginza and Osaka before returning to his family’s sushi restaurant in Japan. As a leader in the Sushi Association Youth Division, he mentored the next generation of sushi chefs while perfecting his own technique. His journey took him to New York and Los Angeles, where he helped establish a major Japanese restaurant as executive Chef. With Yui Chef Gen brings the elegance of authentic Edomae Sushi to Las Vegas. Chef Kaz Iida - Executive Chef Born into a three-generation sushi family in Tokyo, Chef Kaz grew up immersed in the traditions of Edomae Sushi. He first crossed paths with Chef Gen Through the Sushi Association Youth Division, a connection that would later shape his career. After honing his skills as Executive Chef at Japanese restaurants in New York, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Chef Kaz joined Yui 2016. Today, he continues to carry forward his family’s legacy with creativity, precision, and passion. |
